Replace weak or reused passwords
Give important accounts different passwords so one breach does not unlock the rest.
What to do
- Review the account categories that apply to you.
- Replace passwords that are weak, reused, or known to be exposed.
- Save the new passwords in your password manager.
You do not need to rotate strong, unique, uncompromised passwords on an arbitrary schedule.
