Turn on lost-device protection
Make it easier to locate, lock, or erase a lost device.
What to do
- Open the device provider's find-device settings.
- Turn on the available location and lost-device features.
- Make sure you know how to reach the service from another device.
Remote erase may be appropriate if recovery is unlikely. Keep backups before you need them.
